Form of workPool and Spa Depot is interviewing candidates for the position of Service Writer to work in our Cookeville retail store.
The Service Writer (SW) provides customers with courteous customer service either in person or over the phone. The SW strives to retain current customers and develop new business by extending professional, efficient service and suggesting additional services and products to meet the customer's needs.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
The Service Writer (SW) provides customers with courteous customer service either in person or over the phone. The SW strives to retain current customers and develop new business by extending professional, efficient service and suggesting additional services and products to meet the customer's needs.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provide account information to customers including but not limited to previous service calls and completed repairs.
- Schedule service calls
- Perform general account maintenance, create new contacts, update existing contacts, and all changes to existing accounts.
- Provide timely resolution to customer complaints, concerns and issues.
- Build relationships & trust with customers & potential customers by educating them about our products and services.
- Respond to customers requesting to cancel service calls by determining the reason and offering alternatives
- Schedule and coordinate delivery/install of products to customer's homes, service calls, and repairs.
- Accurately communicate customer concerns to technical staff.
- Maintain a working knowledge of products and services.
- Provide other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must have the ability to multi task.
- Previous customer service experience is required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to use web based software (Google Mail, Google Drive, Google Sheets, etc.)
- Must be fluid and able to adapt to changes.
- Experience as a Service Writer, Service Scheduler, or Dispatcher or similar role is preferred; but not a requirement.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions and direction
