Service Writer

Elk River Tire & Auto is a reputable automotive service center dedicated to providing top-notch maintenance and repair services to our valued customers. We are seeking a motivated and customer-centric individual to join our team. As a Service Writer, you will act as the bridge between our customers and service providers, ensuring effective communication and overall satifaction.

Responsibilities:

• Interact with customers to address questions and concerns, record details and provide timely and accurate information.
• Educate clients about our company's products, services, and offers.
• Schedule appointments, address any preventative maintenance and/or needed repairs, monitor service progress, calculate charges, and record transactions accurately in our systems.
• Review customer accounts, identifying and reporting changes to internal staff for seamless service delivery.
• Manage cutomer complaints, returns, and resolve grievances with a focus on positive resolutions.
• Manage, building and maintaining strong connections with clients.
• Act as a liaison between cutomers and various departments within the organization.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Computer proficiency and adaptability to learning new programs.
• Aptitude to organization and a positive attitude.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in customer service or a related role.
• Experience with relevant software is a plus.

Having knowledge of vehicle components and their systems is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 25 per week

Day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Shift:

• Day shift
• No nights
