The ideal candidate for a Service Support Technician would be able to do the following:
- Furnish technical assistance to ASA technicians, customers, sales Reps and consultants to include, but not be limited to trouble shooting, field installation, supervision of start-ups and equipment recommendations
- Understand and provide technical support on electrical gas, mechanical and refrigeration system when required internally
- Provide assistance to customer service personnel to resolve field service related issues other than warranty
- Handle customer calls/complaints for service-related issues
- Some travel is required
- Assist parts group with p/n identification
For a candidate to be successful as a Service Support Technician they must have:
- Basic computer experience that includes Excel, word, teams and video tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent phone skills which include prompt, courteous and efficient handling of calls
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Good electrical, gas and mechanical systems knowledge including understanding of electrical schematics and blueprints
- Good organizational skills and follow through
- Ability to make decisive and precise decisions in a timely manner
