Service Strategy Analyst
Key Role:
Provide support to a Service Headquarters organization in the research, analysis, and assessment of Service Strategy, plans, and their implementation. Identify, analyze, and evaluate complex policies, processes, and systems for the integrated implementation of joint and service strategies. Coordinate and collaborate with service planners on Service-level documents and associated policies. Support the development and authoring of information papers, reports, speeches, assessments, forum position papers, and strategic documents. Prepare senior leadership for decisions and key leader engagements related to Service strategy and plans. Attend planning activities, working groups and forums as needed.
Basic Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience working with the Department of Defense
• 5 years of experience in a Joint or Service Headquarters organization
• Experience with coordinating across military branches on national policy and strategy
• Ability to manage multiple competing deadlines
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience working within a Combatant Command or Service Headquarters
• Experience briefing U.S. military General Officers or senior executive-level officials
• Experience in strategic documents, including NSS, NDS, NMS, and AJA
• Experience supporting military planning including deliberate, contingency, and crisis, and operational planning teams
• Knowledge of military organizational and command structure, missions, roles and functions
• Knowledge of broader national security issues that impact Service equities
• Ability to advise, negotiate and persuade various military officials and senior leaders to endorse recommendations, and adhere to guidance, policies, and regulations
• Possession of excellent research and analysis skills
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Master's degree in International Relations or International Security

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,400.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
