We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to lead our service department at our prestigious Land Rover Jaguar dealership. As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient operations, and the highest level of technical expertise in servicing and repairing vehicles. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service department, including scheduling, workflow management, and quality control.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by maintaining open lines of communication, addressing customer concerns, and resolving issues promptly.
- Lead and develop a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff, providing guidance, training, and motivation to deliver outstanding results.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as parts and sales, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze department performance metrics, such as customer satisfaction, service revenue, and technician productivity, and implement strategies for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technical advancements, and manufacturer guidelines to ensure compliance and provide the highest level of service.
- Manage the service department budget, including expenses, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
- Uphold dealership policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Service Manager or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures, particularly in Land Rover Jaguar vehicles.
- Proven track record of leading and developing a high-performing service team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with customers, staff, and stakeholders.
- Proficient in using dealership management systems and other relevant software.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities to manage multiple priorities and resolve issues effectively.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
