Job Description
- 1-year CONTRACT position with possibility of extension or option to hire
- ONSITE position working in Omaha, NE
- $32 per hour - $36 per hour all-inclusive with some flexibility based on skills and experience
- Schedule: Nights and rotating weekends
- 4-day work week – 4 days in a row, two 12 hr. shifts and two 8-hr. shifts
- 12 hr. shift is 6 PM to 6 AM, 8 hr. shift is either 6 PM to 2 AM or 10 PM to 6 AM
- Weekend coverage monthly
- Financially strong and stable company with years of success with a “small company” atmosphere
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures for IT-related items
- 3+ years of related work experience
- Experience with Service Now
- Experience with Azure and/or M365
- Windows desktop & server operating systems
- PC hardware knowledge
- Department practices and procedures
- Insurance related background
- PC communication hardware/software
- Understand all aspects of the company’s IT Service Desk operations software
- Monitor systems/network activities, respond to phone calls and alerts, diagnose problems, and notify appropriate parties
- Use existing documentation to identify, troubleshoot and repair problems
- Recommend changes/updates to existing documentation
