Service Coordinator

Established in 2000, Medical Application Repair & Sales (“MARS”) is one of the largest local and private owned medical facility service providers on the east coast. Today, MARS is committed to customer service and growth as we continue to expand our reach to additional vendors and products as well as our service footprint.

MARS is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Coordinator to join our service administration team in Lexington SC.

A successful Service Coordinator will plan, coordinate, and track both preventative maintenance and repair requests for surgery centers across MARS’s service footprint of South Carolina & Georgia.

The ideal candidate will have experience in coordinating and tracking the schedules of multiple service technicians in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, organization, and a commitment to customer service are all must-have traits for a Service Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule and coordinate preventative maintenance for medical equipment at multiple surgery centers
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance activities, including schedules, work orders, and any issues or concerns
• Proactively identify and address any scheduling conflicts or issues
• Collaborate with team members to continuously improve the preventative maintenance program

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred
• 2+ years of experience in scheduling, medical equipment maintenance, or a related field
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced ever growing team
