Trainer / Facilitator Description
- Professional trainers with the ability to adapt to a unique medical & statistical audience. Ability to develop web-based on demand training and resources. Develop and revise courses and prepare appropriate training recommendations. Prepare instructor materials and course materials for blended learning. Provide Training by conducting classroom courses, workshops and seminars.
Responsibilities for this Project
- This Trainer role involves training users on how to use specialized CTP tools and systems, primarily through developing training materials and facilitating live training events.
- The Training Team provides FDA staff with a wide variety of training resources (written guides, videos, interactive exercises, live workshops), so the team is looking for a dynamic trainer who has experience training with a range of different mediums.
- The Trainer is also responsible for acquiring knowledge about the systems through knowledge transfers and hands-on practice in order to craft the content for training materials.
- The candidate should be a fast learner with strong communication skills, as they will engage in information exchange meetings with systems development teams to understand training requirements and translate those requirements into clear, organized steps to train the user.
Required skills/Level of Experience:
- A Bachelor's Degree
- Five (5) years of experience in training assessment and development, blended learning mechanisms
- Experience in advising on training delivery
- Experience in teaching technical skills to a non-technical audience
Nice to have skills:
- Expertise in MS Office Suite, TechSmith Camtasia and SnagIt, Adobe Captivate
- Experience with animations in PowerPoint
- Strong communication/writing skills
- Strong facilitation/presentation skills
- Instructional design expertise
- Tech savvy / able to navigate new IT tools and technology
- High attention to detail
