Service Advisor

Flaherty Chevrolet (formerly Tony Brown Chevrolet) is rapidly growing and we are in need of a Parts Consultant to help us keep up with current customer demands. Experience in the automotive field is preferred but we will train the right person. Candidates must possess good people skills, be willing to learn and be motivated to succeed.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Approach, greet, and offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot.
• Assist customers in selecting a parts by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
• Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospects.
• Describe all optional equipment available for customer purchase.
• Build strong rapport with customers.
• Perform high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of vehicle parts.
• Learn to overcome objections, close sales, and perform all other steps of the sales process in accordance with company standards.
• Report to the Parts Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.
• Prospecting and following up with prior customers to capture future sales.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous dealership experience is a plus
• Enthusiastic with high energy
• Outgoing with a friendly personality
• Have quality customer service skills
• Must have good computer skills
• Possess strong communication skills
• Must have a clean & valid driver’s license
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen & background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
