Service Advisor

Valu Auto LLC is looking to hire a Service Advisor/Shop Manager for our automotive repair business in Owego,NY!

We have been in business for 27 years and we are family owned and operated!

This is a FULL-TIME position- we are ideally looking to hire someone to work Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:30pm with some flexibility.

Pay is Depending on Experience and References will need to be provided! (Pay to be discussed upon interview and verification of references)

REQUIREMENTS: 

• At least 2 years of automotive management experience (References Required)
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Customer service skills.
• Experience and knowledge in Automotive repair.
• Experience using Computer, Phone and Credit Card Machine (Quickbooks experience preferred but not required).
• Possess your own tools.

JOB DUTIES:

• Schedule repair appointments and coordinate repair.
• Manage the shop services preformed and the mechanics within the shop.
• Ordering parts.
• Creating Estimates, generating invoices and obtaining payments.
• Maintaining stock of supplies within shop.
• Communicating with customers regarding repairs as well as local dealerships/customers.
• Working closely alongside upper management.
• Repairing Vehicles.
