Job Description

Dot’s homemade Ice cream and water ice is looking for a Server to join our team at our new location in Woodbury Heights, NJ!

Responsibilities:

• Greet and serve guests. Receive and process food orders. Check in, check out, and change orders. Serve guests with their take out orders.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary restaurant.
• Answer any questions or assist guests with any questions about the restaurant.
• Answer any questions about the menu or items in the restaurant.
• Answer any questions about our ingredients or how to use them in recipes.
• Check in, stock, and maintain the front and back of house areas.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations regarding the host position.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures regarding customer service and sales.
• Learn about specials and dining plan offerings as they are announced by us or by other companies competing in our market.
• Learn about free menu items or other special offers from our company as they become available at locations we compete in or for new locations expanding our menu offerings.
• Learn about promotions or discounts offered by us at this moment or from other companies offering similar services as we expand our menu offerings.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to work well with others while maintaining a positive attitude towards guests and co-workers.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8-10 hours) including bending, twisting, reaching, lifting up to 30 lbs., walking up to 8 hrs, sitting down for long periods of time (2 hrs 30 mins - 4 hrs), operating a cell phone, computer, cash register, credit card reader, etc..

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $16.89 - $18.88 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week

• Restaurant experience: 2 years (Required)
