Servers (Part Time) - August Wilson Theatre

Major Broadway theatre owner-operator is seeking enthusiastic Servers with a love for theatre.

You will enthusiastically provide service of food and/or beverages to include the order-taking and delivery of any food and beverage items. This task is to be handled in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely and professional manner to ensure guest satisfaction.

You will be joining a high-energy, detail focused team that plays a central role in keeping one of our five theatres (the St. James, the Al Hirschfeld, the August Wilson, the Eugene O’Neill, the Walter Kerr) and the attractions playing there running safely and smoothly. You will work inside a collaborative, respectful, and driven company that's focused on providing the best experience for theatregoers and theatre-makers on Broadway.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Job Skills

• Previous experience as a front of house food service employee preferred
• Working knowledge of food and sanitation standards desirable
• Ability to walk up and down flights of stairs and stand for the duration of a shift
• Ability to lift/carry up to 20 lbs
• Food handlers certified

• You are able to demonstrate commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive and respectful working and learning environment.

BONUS SKILLS IF YOU HAVE THEM

Experience as a Server in a cocktail bar environment at an entertainment venue

Bilingual is a plus

JOB HOURS

Must be available to work any day of the week including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Hourly Rate: $19 per hour
