We are a Mediterranean / Turkish restaurant looking for two employees that will rotate between serving, bussing, and food running shifts. Previous serving experience and Turkish fluency highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Administer food recommendations, take food orders, handle customer bills, navigate dining room, communicate with kitchen staff.
- Attention to detail.
- Be comfortable conversing with diners and creating a friendly environment.
- Ability to remain calm while working in a high-stress and fast paced environment.
- Have a strong work ethic.
- Deliver food to customers in a timely manner.
- Maintain in-depth menu knowledge to answer questions, make order suggestions, and ensure customers are able to navigate the menu.
- Assist with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning and preparing silverware and condiments.
- Be able to work on your feet for several hours at a time.
- Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude.
Education / Qualifications:
- California Food Handler Certificate
- English Required. Turkish preferred .
