The Osage View Restaurant has an opening for a Server for the summer. This individual will be servicing the main restaurant, the back patio and the pool area. We are looking for candidates available to work days, evenings and weekends. Servers are responsible for greeting our guest, taking orders and serving food in a fun and recreational atmosphere. Dependability, a positive attitude and attention to detail is required for success in this position.
The pay for this position is $7 plus tips!
Requirements/Expectations:
- Prior experience as a server is preferred, but not required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Excellent Customer Service skills are a must.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to move with a sense of urgency & efficiency.
- Ability to remain calm, and maintain a positive demeaner even during high-stress situations.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guest in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Present menus and answer questions regarding food and beverage options
- Take orders on an electronic devise
- Serve orders in a timely manner as they are prepared by kitchen staff
- Anticipate and attend to customer needs throughout their dining experience
- Clean and prep tables with special attention to sanitation and presentation
- Clean restaurant and other dining spaces upon guests leaving
- Help clean and tidy restaurant at the close of shift
- Other duties as assign
