Host/Server

We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Server. As a Host/Server, you will play a vital role in creating a positive dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Seat guests and provide them with menus
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Enter orders into the POS system or cash register
- Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of food
- Provide recommendations on menu items and upsell specials
- Ensure proper handling of food and adherence to food safety guidelines
- Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations

Skills:
- Strong culinary knowledge to effectively answer guest questions about menu items
- Basic math skills for accurately handling payments and making change
- Proficiency in using POS systems or cash registers
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport with guests
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order taking and serving
- Ability to handle guest relations with patience, empathy, and professionalism

Pay: $15.76 - $18.98 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
