Server - Part Time Japanese Sushi Restaurant

We are seeking experienced servers (2 years+ experience in a fast paced dine-in restaurant).

Part time: 1 Lunch shift (10:30am-2:30pm- day to be determined) and at least 2 Dinner Shifts on Wednesday (4:00-8:30pm) & Sunday (3:30-8:30pm). Friday and Saturday dinner shifts may also be available depending on scheduling.

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON WEDNESDAY & SUNDAY DINNER.

Base wage & shared tips - average $28 to $35+/hour.

Server must have 2+ years of dine-in/ carry out experience. Be a good communicator, reliable, friendly and organized. Must be self-motivated, able to multi-task, stay calm under pressure, and work well in a team.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include dine-in service experience, greeting customers, handling phone and online orders, entering orders into POS, packing up to-go orders,, take payments, cleaning and side work tasks.

Requirements:

• Previous server experience (min. two years) in a fast-paced restaurant environment that includes dine-in, carry-out, and online ordering.
• Experience with POS, technology, and online carry-out/phone ordering
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, positive attitude
• Must be able to speak English
• Punctual, organized, reliable, and flexible
• Physical requirements: continual standing/walking; ability to reach, bend, and lift up to 15 lbs.

Additional Experience: We are looking for someone with 2+ years dine-in experience plus take-out and online ordering experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 15 per week
