Server Captain

We are looking for an energetic and Server Captain with open availability to join our team full time at Little Rubys Cafe. You’ll be the face of our vibrant restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences. Captain responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy before and after guests arrive, presenting menus and making suggestions, keeping the entire place immaculate with your team . You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly can do attitude. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we’d like to add you to our team. Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers. Holding team accountable for end of shift, shift turn over and closing duties. Be the liaison between Management team and front of house staff. Make sure the restaurant is set up 100% for opening and closed 100% at closing.

Responsibilities are but not limited to:

• Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and details
• Attend to customers upon entrance
• Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
• Take and serve orders, run drinks
• Answer questions and make recommendations
• Check side work before employees are dismissed
• Complete end of shift paperwork
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and support staff
• Always have a positive attitude
• Issue bills and accept payment
• Always smile
