Responsibilities:
- Take food and drink orders from customers and ensure accuracy
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely manner
- Clear and clean tables after customers have finished dining
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
-MUST BE FLUENT IN KOREAN AND ENGLISH IF APPLYING FOR SERVER POSITION. DO NOT NEED TO SPEAK KOREAN IF APPLYING FOR THE COOK POSITION.
- Previous experience in the Korean food/bar service industry is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Knowledge of basic math for handling cash transactions
- Familiarity with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in a restaurant setting
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service
- Basic knowledge of culinary terms and menu items
- Sales skills to upsell menu items and promote specials
