This is a position for a highly innovative, passionate, and energetic individual with critical thinking skills to develop solutions to complex problems in an evolving startup environment. The successful candidate will work as a skilled and detail-oriented Sensor Scientist in Zense-Life’s R&D Group. Working closely with a highly motivated team of scientists and engineers, the candidate will be responsible for carrying out the following duties:

· Develop novel sensor technology for medical device applications

· Design, plan and perform test procedures to evaluate sensor performance.

· Write and implement SOPs, Design Verification Studies, Test Protocols, and Test Reports.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (PhD is preferred) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering,
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience

• 0-5 years medical device industry experience
• Hands-on experience in glucose sensor development is required
• In-depth expertise in the following technical areas are highly desirable:

• CGM sensor development experience
• Biosensor electrochemistry expertise
• Biosensor enzyme technology
• Sensor polymer membrane technology
• Demonstrated ability to successfully plan out and complete projects
