ASRC Federal Cyber is seeking a Sensor and Control Technicianat Fort Greely, Alaska.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to control and monitoring systemsand perform needed repairs.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to fire, smoke, or other causes of damage to the system.
- Tests and calibrates system devices to ensure functional reliability ofoperating/monitoring system
- Inspects, trouble shoots, performs corrective and preventative maintenance onSystem controls.
- Install, modify, and maintain system hardware such as electrical conduit, sensorwiring, communications wiring, antenna wiring, radio equipment, power supplies, control system enclosures, etc.
- Install and maintain motor control systems for fans, pumps, compressors, etc.
- Check Monitor, maintain and install building automation system for HVAC, fume hoods, exhaust fans, environmental growth chambers and related systems.
- Read and modify where necessary appropriate system blueprints and schematics.
- Maintains appropriate logs and records of systems operations.
- Performs other miscellaneous duties as needed.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 0-2 years of relevent experience.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
