Sennheiser Trade Marketing Manager- Key Accounts
Purpose of role:The Trade Marketing Manager Key Accounts is responsible for the planning and executing of the annual Trade Marketing plans to achieve retail revenue growth, account profitability, and shopper engagement with the assigned retail partners in the US. The role will deploy global brand messaging and shopper strategies to effectively drive sales conversion online and in-store across the Sennheiser consumer product portfolio within the given budget parameters.

Main Tasks and Responsibities:
Trade Marketing Planning/Strategy
Develop annual Trade Marketing Plan to drive sales growth targets and profitability for the assigned Key Accounts:
  • Collaborate with Sales on annual growth strategies and Go-To-Market Plans
  • Collaborate with Marketing contacts/buyers at Key Accounts to define annual Co-Marketing Activity Plan
  • Plan retailer-specific product launch activities based on global launch schedules
  • Plan promotional strategies in alignment with Sales and regional and global guidelines
  • Manage assigned Trade Marketing budget to include forecasting of expenses
  • Provide ongoing ROI and ROAS analysis for key projects and provide monthly recap reports
  • Analyze new shopper trends in the region and identify profitable commercial and marketing opportunities
  • Present global marketing strategy documents to Key Account contacts and craft partner-focused marketing proposals

Trade Marketing Execution
Manage all execution of Trade Marketing activities related to assigned Key Accounts:
  • Optimize the brand's and product's appearance in-store (display, P.O.S. materials, shelf planning, etc.)
  • Plan and execute local events (trade shows, training events etc.)
  • Manage timely delivery of marketing assets to retail partners in accordance with annual co-marketing plans
  • Deploy global retail staff training content to assigned key accounts

Regional and Global Marketing Involvement
Champions Trade Marketing function in the Americas Marketing team:
  • Provides key account-specific insights to the Americas Marketing team
  • Informs about relevant shopper marketing trends and competitive insights
  • Actively collaborates with Global Shopper Marketing function to ensure global guidelines can be effective in the US
  • Participates in weekly and monthly regional and global marketing meetings
  • Travel up to 30%

Education and Skillset:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 5+ years of experience in Trade Marketing in a Consumer Goods Category
  • Equal experience in E-commerce/ digital marketing and in-store merchandising tactics
    Experience in negotiating and executing profitable co-marketing plans with medium to larger retail accounts
    Knowledge of marketing analytics, segmentation and targeting, retail and wholesale processes, pricing policies
  • Consumer Electronics channel experience
  • Having worked with premium brands
  • Prior experience in working with Best Buy, Target, Walmart or similar large "Big Box" retailers
  • Hands-on/solutions-oriented mentality
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated
    Willingness to travel
  • Interest in Consumer Electronics, Audio, Music highly preferred
  • Relationship management skills with ability to influence and drive results within a matrix environment
  • High level of service- and customer orientation
  • Team-oriented - ability to work well with diverse, cross-functional teams

A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova
