What We Need:
We are looking for a Senior Workplace Advisory Manager to join our HNI Workplace Furnishings team.
As a Senior Workplace Advisory Manager, you will enhance personal competencies as workplace subject expert to - as an active coach or contributor sales and/or account management processes - provide advisory support and solutions-based strategies and product applications for customers and influencers, specifically the 'thought leadership/consultative aspect' of both major project opportunities and significant corporate accounts.

What You Will Do:
- Maintain/expand one's network for and knowledge of workplace strategy and related topics.
- Track/read industry materials from competitors/other organizations with workplace strategists/related subject areas to test and expand mental models and inform our unique positions on timeless and timely topics.
- Lead WPA's contribution to key project opportunities and/or strategic corporate account wins and retention in coordination with Allsteel Gunlocke Field Sales teams or HNI Global through consultative Workplace Advisory and decision support.
- Inform solutions development with trends reviews and discussions regarding their relevance and implications.
- Plan/conduct needs analyses, product/application development and positioning, and change management.
- Participate in the development of opportunity and account strategies and identify what services/support activities/content are appropriate.
- Interact with customers and influencers for each significant opportunity/account: identify and interpret customer and influencer needs/requests for trends 'sense-making'; support strategy development and design collaboration; and develop/direct appropriate responses, including needs-based solutions and the stories/positioning that demonstrates its relevance to best practices and/or the clients'/designer's intent.
- Collaborate w/ Workplace Applications for the creation of typicals, using story-telling and/or linking their relevance to trends or clients/their designers' intent-test fits and/or block plans as required to recommend product applications - schematic level typicals, standards or modular/kit-of-parts solutions.
- Support mockup plans, positioning, and presentation materials/strategy to support recommendations.
What You Have:
- 4 Year Interior Design degree or equivalent experience(s).
- 3 years minimum Workplace Strategy consultative/decision-support role experience(s).
- Consultative/decision-support role experience(s).
- Some Contract furniture experience; strong understanding of the sales process.
- Some furniture product knowledge, including competitive products.
