Overview:
Operational expertise in military warfighting to support government analysis programs that drive requirements definition, resource allocation, advanced capabilities and technologies, acquisition and logistics support for C4I capabilities supporting aviation, surface warfare, undersea warfare, and information warfare. The candidate will be analyze future warfighting capabilities across numerous domains to develop concepts and gap analysis with a view towards outpacing potential adversaries.
Responsibilities:
Operational support to specified programs and directed technical efforts.
Provide Subject Matter Expertise on current and future capabilities.
Analyze, manage, and support advanced systems studies.
Analyze science and technology capability lifecycles and transition of capability.
Collect, complete, organize and interpret technical data and information.
Develop and analyze program/project status, schedules, and milestones.
Develop CONOPs, CONEMPs, and tactical representative requirements.
Required:
USN / USMC Officer tour(s) with VFA / VMFA / VAQ / VAW / HS / HSM squadrons. USAF also considered.
Desired:
Weapon School Graduate, Squadron Tactics Instructor, OPNAV or Pentagon experience.
Experience in system acquisition to include development, integration, and fielding of capabilities. Developmental / Operational Test experience is also valuable.
Location:
San Diego, CA
Travel: 10-25% contract dependent
Qualifications:
Active TOP SECRET clearance. (Note: active SECRET clearance with TOP SECRET eligibility may be considered for otherwise well qualified candidates)
Excellent written and oral communication skills to be commensurate with technical and event facilitator roles.
Complete familiarity with Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel, Word, etc). Skills will be evaluated in initial candidate screening.
Education:
Required: Bachelor's degree.
Desired: Technical Degree, PMP, MBA or other advanced degree
