The SVP of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive profitable growth and expand our customer base. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of SaaS sales, and a track record of exceeding sales targets.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Define and execute the sales strategy, from prospecting to closure.
- Develop and maintain key customer relationships to expand our customer base.
- Understand market trends and competitive landscape to position our products effectively.
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales team.
- Meet or exceed sales goals on a consistent basis.
- Accurately forecast future sales and adapt sales plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to align strategies and drive growth.
- Provide detailed sales activity reports to the executive team.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
- Mentor and develop team members to enhance capabilities and performance.
- Taking ownership of the sales pipeline
- Grow and manage a referral partnership network.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the sales department.
- Play a pivotal role in our startup to scale up efforts as an executive leader.
- Contribute to our US and Canada expansion strategy.
SPECIFIC EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 5 years of Sales experience, with a focus on SaaS.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas in a software company.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Deep understanding of CRM systems and best practices.
- Prior experience in the property management industry is a plus.
- Experience with financial forecasting and business planning is a plus.
- Ability to travel as needed.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Travel up to 50% of the time for this role.
