Role Definition:

  • As a Senior Project Manager, your servant-leader mindset and project management expertise will be key enablers as you and the team deliver on our business partners' key business objectives.
  • This position requires the ability to effectively translate a desired business outcome into an actionable, achievable, and team-aligned plan that delivers per expectations.  


Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing project processes and procedures; monitoring the productivity and performance of project team.
  • Managing all aspects of projects. Setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing progress of project.
  • Ensuring adherence to project methodologies and best practices.
  • Preparing and presenting program level reporting for stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership within the team and assigned projects, providing excellent support and coaching.

Role Requirements:

  • Strong practical understanding of project management fundamentals, best practices and methodologies.
  • Manages high-risk, high-cost projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Consults on project planning and management of high-risk, high-impact projects.
  • Coaches others in open communication among project stakeholders.
  • Monitors major projects for critical path and actual status versus planned.
  • Demonstrates the value and necessity of linking tactical plans to overall strategic plan.
  • Ensures attention to the detail and dependencies of existing departmental-level plans.
  • Plans for allocation of resources in line with unit goals, technical and business objectives.
  • Establish and maintain healthy working relationships with, sponsors, stakeholders and team members.


Degree Requirement:

  • A 4-year college or university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study.


Desired experience:

  • Project Management Professional certification (PMP)
  • 6 Sigma background
  • Past experience leading large and complex projects with significant technical components and/or ERP implementations, major upgrades, and/or deployments

Additional Information:

  • This role is a hybrid position and would require any successful candidate to commit to a 3 day per week in office requirement.
