The Role

As the Senior Vice President of Professional Services, you will play a pivotal role in driving our agency's success by leading and overseeing the Professional Services division. Your strategic vision, exceptional leadership skills, and expertise in public relations will guide our team of professionals to deliver outstanding results for our clients. Working closely with the executive team, you will shape the agency's direction, develop client relationships, and foster a culture of excellence.

Responsibilities

1. Leadership and Strategy:

- Collaborate with the executive team to set the agency's strategic direction, vision, and goals for the Professional Services division.

- Provide visionary leadership to the team, motivating and inspiring them to achieve exceptional results.

- Develop and implement innovative PR strategies and tactics that align with client objectives and industry best practices.

2. Client Management:

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring their satisfaction.

- Lead new business development efforts by identifying potential clients, pitching services, and closing deals.

- Work with the team to develop tailored PR strategies for clients that align with their unique needs and goals.

3. Team Development:

- Build and lead a high-performing Professional Services team, providing mentorship, guidance, and development

- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages creativity, open communication, and mutual respect.

- Conduct performance evaluations, set objectives, and support team members in achieving their individual and team goals.

4. Financial Management:

- Oversee the financial performance of the Professional Services division, ensuring profitability and efficient resource allocation.

- Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans that align with the agency's overall goals.

- Monitor project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

5. Industry Expertise:

- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in public relations and communications.

- Act as a thought leader, representing the agency at industry events, conferences, and speaking engagements.

6. Business Development and Growth:

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging existing client relationships and cultivating new ones.

- Collaborate with the business development team to create compelling proposals and deliver presentations to prospective clients.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

- Proven track record of at least 12 years in Public Relations, with a focus on strategic communications and client management.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role within a PR agency setting.

- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective PR strategies for clients across different industries.

- Strong business acumen with experience in financial management and budgeting.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
