As a Senior Vice President (SVP), Business Services, you will be responsible for the following:
- Directing the commercial lending functions of TFCU to ensure the accomplishment of corporate objectives.
- Directing and coordinating all necessary elements of Business Services and commercial lending through the authority and responsibility of their position via their subordinate personnel, activities of their department, or functions of TFCU.
- Managing treasury services provided to TFCU Commercial Clients.
- Assisting in the establishment and control of loan policies and procedures.
- Serving in a working capacity and be required to maintain their own commercial portfolio, while also monitoring the quantity and quality of TFCU’s.
Salary Range:
The salary range is $191,575 - $239,469; however, actual placement within the range will be determined individually based on your experience relative to organizational needs and internal salary equity.
Education/Experience:
You must have a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a field relatable to the position and nine years of related experience, of which two years must be at the supervisory or management level. A master’s degree and financial institution experience are preferred.
Applicable work experience and/or military experience may be substituted for education at the rate of two years of experience for one year of education. Applicable additional education levels may be eligible to satisfy education and/or experience requirements.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Incumbent Bonding REQUIRED by TFCU’s chosen authority.
- Valid driver’s license, maintaining an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
- Approved lending authority by TFCU’s Board of Directors.
- NMLS License.
Keys to success:
In order to be successful as Senior Vice President (SVP), Business Services, you must possess these qualifications:
- Knowledge of credit lending and loan administration.
- Strong knowledge of commercial lending.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to lending.
- Understanding of collections, and credit administration.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with third parties and negotiate vendor contracts timely and accurately.
- Ability to retain information and knowledge of TFCU and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Must be thoroughly knowledgeable of federal, state and NCUA regulations and how they apply to job and duties thereof.
- Ability to effectively communicate with and actively listen to clients in order to recommend suitable products that meet their needs.
- Ability to analyze, understand, and communicate market movements, economic conditions, and risk factors as they relate to financial concepts, product pricing/valuations, etc.
- Ability to use and maintain basic, fundamental office equipment.
