Reporting to the Chief Value Based Care Officer the SVP, VBC Operations is responsible for driving the operational excellence of the organization to support and enhance value-Based Care initiatives. The SVP, VBC Operations provides leadership and oversight to the large clinical (including nurses and care coordinators) and non-clinical functions running day to day operations including but not limited to scheduling, staffing, achieving clinical and non-clinical KPIs.

Execution of KPIs
- Develop and execute the clinical and non-clinical operational strategy in alignment with the organization's value-Based Care goals to achieve KPIs
- Provide visionary strategy and leadership to teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with execute leadership to define and prioritize operational objectives
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency to achieve KPIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and reduce operational bottlenecks
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and industry standards in all operations
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risk and implement best practices
Technology and Reporting
- Oversee the implementation and optimization of technology solutions to support operations
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the integrity and security of operational systems
- Partner with analytics team to develop reporting tools to evaluate and develop actionable reports to communicate quality, risk, and cost efficiency opportunities.
Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure service quality and cost-effectiveness
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to optimize value for the organization
Risk Adjustment
- Provide leadership and mentorship to Clinical Documentation team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
- Ensure accuracy of risk adjustment operational activities including audit functions of internal and vendor process
Team Development
- Provide leadership and mentorship to clinical and non-clinical teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
- Develop talent within the organization to build a high-performing team
Financial Management
- Oversee the financial aspects of clinical and non-clinical operations, including budgeting, forecasting and cost control measures
- Collaborate with finance teams to optimize resource allocation and maximize cost-effectiveness
Claims Management
- Oversight and processing of claims for delegated health plan
- Ensure timely processing and compliance with all regulatory standards
Management
- Manage team of 70+ employees including, clinical and non-clinical team members.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field required
- Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field highly preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 15 or more years of experience working within value-Based Care, physician, or healthcare setting.
- Previous experience working in risk adjustment and clinical workflows required.
