Summary of Role:
Navvis and a client partner have developed a joint venture to provide care management and care coordination services to patients under value based care arrangements. This position will oversee the joint venture operations spanning the on going operations, optimization and growth. This role will have a close relationship with our client partner on the performance on going optimization efforts to improve performance of the joint venture.
As Senior Vice President of Operations you will:
  • Be a part of the Navvis Care Management executive team providing management and leadership to the venture
  • Lead a team of multi disciplinary team members to collectively achieve the goals and vision of the venture
  • Foster positive relationships and excitement for the vision and journey to healthcare transformation
  • Responsible for staffing, infrastructure procurement and budgeting, change management, and revenue maximization leading to commercialization opportunities
  • Develop achievable goals with your direct reports setting the vision and standard for cascading those goals within the care management venture
  • Participate in strategic decisions and development around new products within Care Management realm
  • Partner cross-functionally to successfully develop strategies by creating the business plans, vision, goals, and metrics of each program/product/service line. Forecast and manage resources to ensure program success
  • Develop successful operational models with new products which will be scalable and potentially commercialized
  • Serve as the business representative to negotiate contracts with third party vendors related to our care management services
  • Work closely with Navvis and partner leadership and medical directors to provide clinical oversight with an effective communication plan
  • Be accountable for performance of productivity and performance metrics of care teams
  • Identify resources (organization charts) needed to include managerial staff, clinical staff and support staff
  • Establish workflows and policy and procedures needed for day-to-day operations
  • Manage populations within a specific budget
  • Collaborate with the clinical leadership to identify quality outcomes initiatives that connect to and elevate current and future care management impacts
  • Partner with Navvis shared services and client partner to establish processes to monitor performance indicators against identified outcomes and utilization goals
  • Ensure patients' experience of care is reflected by a very high level of satisfaction by establishing patient survey processes and capabilities
  • Actively sponsor the implementation of organizational strategies and initiatives relative to Navvis services
  • Ensure effective mechanisms for ongoing communication between and among departments and disciplines that support the patient population being served
  • Engage and drive strategic initiatives from senior leadership
  • Will perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Service Standards

What Success Looks Like in this Role:
  • The SVP of Operations drives the growth and ongoing operational success of the venture, leads collaborative efforts with healthcare partners on strategic and operational initiatives, and provides guidance to shared services functional areas supporting the venture
  • The SVP of Operations works regularly with the Navvis leadership team, physicians and client partners to build relationships, monitor performance, improve processes, solve problems, and capitalize on opportunities to strengthen the company
  • This position ensures operative objectives and results are in accord with Navvis overall needs and standards
  • The SVP of Operations serves as the Executive Sponsor of venture specific initiatives ensuring partnership across Navvis functional areas
  • The SVP of Operations will successfully develop and manage the care management budget and performance of the venture, being accountable for overall performance and growth of the venture

Requirements
We are excited about you if you have these things:
  • Education: Masters Degree in clinical, Business, or related field required
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of healthcare leadership experience
  • Knowledge of health care management principles and practices, enough to direct operations within a health care organization
  • Possesses and maintains a current knowledge of healthcare industry operations and trends
  • Excellent communication skills with leadership, outside partners and patient and family. Ability to relate to physicians, nurses, and senior level health care leaders
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and patient centric skills to interact effectively with co-workers and outside partners
  • Must be a proactive, team-focused leader and self-starter
  • Ability to understand strategy and how to implement strategy
  • Strong and proven ability to develop, coach and mentor team members
  • Strong collaborative, negotiating, influencing, leadership and decision-making skills
  • Proven track record working with clients; excellent client interface and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage change in a complex organization
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and build programs to scale
  • Strong interpersonal skills - ability to work well in a multi-cultural environment and matrix organization
  • High level of integrity with a hands-on work ethic and approach
  • Superior leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage others, direct and non-direct reports and peers
  • Ability to travel as needed
