The Senior Vice President of Human Resources serves as a senior advisor, counsel and trusted partner to the executive team and other management and supervisory staff. Provides insight and uses proven experience to translate organizational strategy into meaningful and relevant HR initiatives. Oversees organizational and leadership development initiatives, talent acquisition, performance management, compensation & benefits, payroll, training & development and employee relations activities and initiatives. The SVP of Human Resources will serve as a member of Rawlings' Executive Team and reports to the President.
◾ Collaborates directly with President and Executive team to ensure achievement of short- and long-term HR-related business objectives.
◾ Develops HR strategies, objectives, and goals to broaden the overall business strategy and culture.
◾ Serve as HR Consultant to managers of people on issues such as organization design, leadership and team development, succession planning, change management, performance management, training, policy issues, retention strategies and compensation management.
◾ Plans and manages the delivery of all HR services to employees including recruitment, employee development, compensation analysis, benefits, training, communications, organizational development, succession planning.
◾ Collaborates with others as needed to identify and resolve critical organizational issues.
◾ Leads initiatives to build/maintain a positive company culture.
◾ Stays abreast of changing employment regulations/laws and ensures compliance.
◾ Travel to distribution center/plant locations may be required.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:
◾ Ability to influence senior executives, establish and maintain collaborative partnerships, and provide thought leadership.
◾ Depth of staffing experience to ensure that the recruiting, assessment, and selection of talent are meeting business hiring objectives and requirements in a timely manner.

◾ Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with ability to confidently speak or present at PE/ownership meetings.

◾ Ability to understand and utilize an HRIS system and strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
Education / Experience:
◾ 15+ years of practical experience in a corporate Human Resources leadership role supporting multiple US facilities.
◾ Minimum of 10 years in a senior HR operations leadership role.
◾ BS in Human Resources or related discipline. Master’s degree in HR, MBA, or SPHR certification preferred.
◾ Ability to support organizational growth strategies. Preferred experience in talent development, succession planning, and acquisition due diligence/integration is a plus.
◾ Proven consultative leader and advisor; strong financial acumen and demonstrated experience in developing HR strategies to drive corporate goals.
◾ Prior experience within a consumer goods company with multiple sales channels will be viewed as an advantage.
