Job Description
- Conducts research and supports the development of the training content and learning objectives based on assessment criteria and requirements while adhering to the training plan.
- Gathers feedback from field operations staff to develop best practices.
- Works with instructional designers, curriculum developers, and other training team staff as required to ensure learning objectives are met.
- Creates content for training based on research, gathered feedback from field operations, defined learning objectives, and knowledge transfer sessions with SME’s.
- Prepares for and conducts subject matter expert (SME) interviews.
- Analyzes existing training content and conducts gap analysis to implement changes as needed.
- Develops learning materials and resources such as job aids, training engagements, and learner assessments for evaluating effectiveness of training curriculum.
- Facilitates training sessions to include formal delivery of training content as well as providing ad hoc training and technical assistance as needed.
- Develops reports and tracks technical assistance requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Social Sciences, Management, Education, or a related field with at least 8 years of experience in the development and delivery of training curriculum. Master’s degree a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and writing skills.
- Excellent communication skills with previous training content development experience.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Experience facilitating training content to varying target audiences.
- Knowledge of different learning styles and proven ability to adapt delivery methods as needed.
- Ability to multi-task and make operational decisions while catering to program needs, priorities, and available resources.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
