Responsibilities
- Engage in pricing and hedging from blind bid portfolios to index reweighting baskets
- Work closely with the sales team to develop the client franchise
- Develop quantitative tools and models to optimize trading, reduce risk, market impact and increase profitability of trading algorithms
- Manage trading book including taking positions in capital markets as well as identifying and exploiting trading opportunities and hedging the risk
- Develop, backtest and implement systematic trading strategies
- Evaluate systematic versus specific risk and measuring portfolio concentration
- Manage risk in US underlyings (including pricing, hedging, unwinding and monitoring)
- Implement a new workflow on the Trading Desk in New York by introducing technology and trading models that will increase our Principal Trading capacity, minimize risk, and improve overall client service and allow rapid growth of our product offering (Agency, Algorithmic, Principal, Certificates, etc.) both domestic and international clients
- Pricing non-US trades for US customers during US hours. Algorithmic Trading: further developing our Algorithmic trading offering on the US markets for our domestic and international clients
- Quantitative Analysis: designing tools that will help analyze client portfolios in order to expand our Portfolio services. This product will need to be designed and marketed along our other products with the local sales force
- Pricing Hub: setting up a pricing hub in New York for all risk products (US underlyings, non-US underlying, Guaranteed trades, etc.)

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Must Have:
- Master's degree or U.S. equivalent in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Engineering, Mathematics of Finance, or Physics
- Must pass FINRA Series 7, Series 55 and Series 63 licensing after commencement of employment
- 2 years of experience at a financial institution on a trading desk that manages at least $20 million in customer commissions
- Highly collaborative – an open individual who can work successfully with multi-disciplinary, multi-national teams
- High achiever driven to exceed expectations, with the highest personal standards in regard to integrity and confidentiality
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships within a large organization and partner with other business heads
