As an ACT Commodities Sales Trader, you get to do it all, from building client relationships to identifying and sourcing suitable products, negotiating the terms and closing the deals.

As a Senior Sales Trader you will:
- Build your own client portfolio through direct prospecting and networking to originate new business and increase market share
- Understand and identify arbitrage opportunities in the Renewable Energy commodity market to originate deal flow for your trade book
- Create strategic trade solutions to ensure obligated parties reach their compliance goals
- Develop an understanding of the landscape within the market including product knowledge, industry challenges, legislative and geopolitical changes
- Maintain relationships in the Renewable Energy sector
- Represent the firm at conferences and engage with stakeholders within the 8-industry
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of sales, trading, brokerage or account management experience
- Highly self-motivated person who thrives in a dynamic work environment and demonstrates a flexible and adaptable work style that responds quickly
- Undergraduate Degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Environmental Studies or a related field
- Experience trading commodities or Renewable Energy a plus
Salary Range: $120,000-140,000 + discretionary bonus
Actual base pay may vary based on various factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, level and experience. The base pay is just one component of the total competitive compensation package for employees.
