Senior Test Engineer, Raymond, Ohio 43067

LER TechForce, LLC seeks a Senior Test Engineer in Raymond, Ohio. Duties: apply quality assurance techniques; compile data and define changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing or overhaul processes for current and new products; conduct engineering vulnerability assessment of systems; contribute to the delivery of innovative, flexible, and integrated solutions to meet customer changing business needs; coordinate input from internal/external customer to understand needs and perceptions; perform root cause analysis, error correction, and functional and risk analysis of system level problems (5 Whys, Fishbone); provide accreditation/certification evaluation and test support to ensure that all technical features are considered and functioning properly; assist the development team with the scheduling and maintenance of resources needed for automated testing; represent test team in multi-focused team meetings; utilize varying test environments to analyze and verify system behavior; work in cross-functional teams across the organization to architect, implement and troubleshoot complex solutions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics engineering, computer engineering, or related field, and 3 years of professional experience in any role in which one or more of the skills listed below were used or developed: CAN or SAE J1939 analysis; development of applications for testing of electronic control systems for automotive applications; LabVIEW, Simulink, or TestStand; automation of testing scripts; validation and verification testing, systems performance evaluation, and troubleshooting automated testing and communication protocols; performing test setup and configuring hardware setup/connections using HIL test bench to conduct validation and verification testing.
