Senior Technician / Inventory Control
Position Description
Lindsay Corporation is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist. The Specialist will be responsible for all aspects on inventory management primarily the cycle count program execution, Inventory Adjustment analysis, and production order review for yield analysis. Other job duties will include various inventory and yield reporting and analysis. This analysis will be utilized by the Sourcing and Operation teams to drive to root cause in order to resolve these issues. In addition, this position will support the Sourcing team’s annual physical inventory for the Lindsay plant.
Position Details

Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate yields in production through the yield reporting,
- Make sure the inventory is accurate by assisting with the Cycle Count process and preparing monthly inventory accuracy reports.
- Preparation of the monthly inventory adjustments
- Coordinate and ensure the Cycle counts are maintained.
- Mid-month & end-of-Month RPO/Production reporting for the plant,
- End-of-Month Scrap Reporting,
- Assist Sourcing with the inventory and inventory analysis
- WIP Reporting for the plant
- Facilitate auditor requests related to receiving, production orders and inventory adjustments.
- Conduct monthly Zinc, Tubing, Zinc By Products, and Coil cycle counts.
- Location 15 Analysis to ensure that the plant is cleaning up the inventory adjustments moved to this location to allow time for additional research,
- Monitor Business Central transactions for accuracy for material handling, receiving, sourcing, and operations.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing/inventory experience
- Action-oriented and diplomatic to get tasks done on time
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively with a sense of urgency
- Ability to creatively problem-solve
- Written and oral communication skills
- Understanding of manufacturing and plant activities
