Senior Technical Analyst

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Senior Technical Analyst represents the NAM Legacy Platforms team in the Program. Is responsible to understand target Solution Architecture and key design decisions (KDD), a scope of integration and data impact, Schneider NAM legacy applications, and define technical requirements by translating functional design into specific technical language. Senior Technical Analyst will also work with the Developers, Solution and Integration Architects to provide necessary impute while designing and enabling integrations with various legacy platforms. He/She also will support Data Migration and Scrum Teams to build, manage and maintain a repeatable legacy data migration framework for S/4 HANA implementation through mapping, extraction and load.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Represent and be an advocate for NAM legacy platforms, data and integrations as an active member of an Integration Team.
• Work closely with Solution and Integration Architects, Scrum Team members to understand target architecture, a scope of integrations and business requirements, and explore/research different integration options in order to create the best design for integrating with NAM legacy platforms following to SE Architecture Guidelines and standards. 
• Work closely with NAM Legacy Teams and perform technical analysis, understanding the legacy data to determine patterns and characteristics of the Integration.
• Translate business requirements and document technical specifications to enable integrations with NAM Legacy Systems.
• Support and guide Developers and System Teams while developing and enabling integrations with NAM Legacy Systems.
• Support in testing and troubleshooting technical issues related to Integrations with NAM Legacy Platforms. 
• Support Data Migration activities, by understanding functional requirements, key design decisions made within the Scrum teams and extracting the data from legacy sources.
• Provide guidance to Data Extraction teams.
• Participates and supports Scrum teams in Sprint planning, execution, documenting and delivering the user stories.
• Identifies and creates required data to test and demo user stories.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 7 years+ of development experience in legacy platforms - Unix, Cobox, .Net
• Solid understand of Schneider NAM Quote to Cash technical landscape and system design
• A techno-functional role with solid understanding of basic functional concepts and objects in Schneider NAM Quote to Cash
• Can work well with business and Functional consultants to help identify data to be loaded and determine mapping between S/4 HANA and legacy data
• Experience with data conversion/data preparation activities is a plus 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skillsets
• Ability to work in the US. We do not provide sponsorship

• Candidates considered for this role should have a BA or BS or equivalent experience.
• University degree in a related area of study (Computer Science)

• Understand fundamentals of iterative and incremental development.
