Senior Tax Associate

As a Senior Tax Associate you will be consulting with clients to help address their tax and accounting concerns. Additionally, you will be enhancing your technical skills by reviewing the work of the Tax and Accounting teams, while gaining experience growing and managing your own portfolio.

Salary Range: $75,000-$95,000

Production Bonus: 1.5% of revenue managed x client satisfaction score ($5,000-$6,000)

Total Pay: $75,000 to $101,000

Responsibilities:

• Cultivate relationships with 50-80 small to medium-sized clients, primarily Doctors and Dentists
• Lead quarterly and annual tax meetings, offering strategies to reduce tax burdens and enhance financial performance
• Assume full responsibility for taxes and strategy from inception to delivery of returns, overseeing the implementation of tax strategies
• Review monthly financials prepared by the Accounting team and 1040, 1120S, and 1065 tax returns prepared by Tax Associates
• Provide training and guidance to Tax Associates using our curriculum

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Candidates with a CPA or EA preferred
• 3-7 years of public accounting experience working on business tax returns
• Autonomy and ability to manage your own book of business
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of IRS rules regarding taxation of S Corps and Partnerships
• Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills
• Strong time management skills to meet strict deadlines
