Position Overview:

As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in serving closely held businesses and high net worth individuals. Your expertise in tax accounting will be instrumental in providing top-notch services to our clients. We are looking for a dedicated professional with a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns, including multi-state and consolidated returns.
• Review tax returns completed by junior staff, offering guidance and ensuring accuracy.
• Collaborate with the team to design and implement effective tax planning strategies for our clients.
• Prepare compilations and reviews of financial statements, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Play a crucial role in managing, developing, training, and mentoring junior staff members.
• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, managing expectations and consistently meeting deadlines.

Education/Skills/Experience for our Senior Tax Accountant:

Bachelors in accounting, MPAc a plus

CPA certification preferable

3+ years of experience in an accounting role with a public accounting firm

Strong technical skills and research capabilities

Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience with CCH Axcess Tax, Engagement and Document a plus
