A well-established busy Neurology, Epilepsy, and Sleep Medicine clinic, with several locations. Auston office has an immediate opening in its Sleep center for a Sleep Tech Trainee.
This is a Nighttime position from 7 pm-7 am and you will be required to travel between all centers if needed. The professional will be trained as a Sleep Technologist and will perform overnight polysomnography testing which is a standard tool in Sleep Medicine for evaluating sleep-related pathophysiology, sleep architecture, and sleep integrity. The Sleep Technician will help patients feel comfortable during the technically driven process of a sleep study that is done in our sleep centers.
We expect that you will be educated, have a stable work history, and live in the Austin area.The pay during the 2-3-month training is $18- $23, after an internal test and CPSGT, the corresponding pay is $24-$26. Then, depending upon your education and experience and the number of clinical hours, you can take the RPSGT to become a registered Sleep Tech with corresponding pay up to $27-$29. The company pays once for all levels of study modules & exams for registration. PLEASE DON'T APPLY IF YOU'RE NOT WILLING TO BE PAID AT THESE LEVELS DURING TRAINING & HAVE A STABLE WORK HISTORY.
For the first one to two weeks, the employee would train in the Sugar Land office. (Hotel accommodation, food per diem, and transportation reimbursement to and from Austin covered by the company)
