- Assist the Statutory Reporting unit with the daily tasks related to the compilation of Statutory financial statements, reconciliations, process enhancement and other critical Statutory accounting and reporting projects as the number of health insurance entities has grown significantly.
- The position will play a critical role in the preparation of accurate and timely financial reporting as required by the various state regulatory authorities in which the entities are licensed.
- Additionally, this role will have the chance to be assigned to new business needs as we continue to grow.
- Our Senior Statutory Reporting Accountant will be a key report to our Statutory Reporting Manager
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Statutory financial statements to ensure timely and accurate presentation to the NAIC and the appropriate state regulatory authorities (Health Statement).
- Prepare all supplemental filings that accompany the quarterly and annual Statutory financial statements as required by the appropriate state regulatory authorities.
- Support and assist in various Department/Division of Insurance audits by preparing schedules, responding to inquiries, and adhering to deadlines.
- Support and assist in testing the development of NetSuite and other ad hoc reports to facilitate the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual Statutory financial statements.
- Assist in the filing of the monthly, quarterly and annual Statutory financial statements using appropriate vendor software, submit filings to the NAIC, and individual states while adhering to all deadlines.
- Lead and participate in ad hoc projects supporting Statutory Reporting and Finance needs as they arise.
- Ability to work overtime as necessary during peak reporting periods.
- Responsibilities also will entail assisting in the review of certain Statutory financial statements and supplemental filings as necessary.

Salary range: $57,000-$120,000 / year
