Senior Staff Packaging Engineer, Operations Department

The Senior Staff Packaging Operations Engineer is responsible for:

• Defining substrate/package design rules, process flow and material set for new automotive power module packages.
• Developing new assembly technologies, run process DOE's, to define process windows for new package development.
• Drive reliability testing and qualification of new automotive module packages in conjunction with the reliability group.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams within our client for successful development, qualifications and production ramp of new module products.

1. Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Material Sciences
2. 12+ years experience in semi conductor packaging technology
3. Experience with packaging processes and package substrate design rules, tools (including AutoCAD)
4. Knowledge of AEQ and APQP Automotive reliability and development process
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to travel to Asia to attend technology reviews and resolve subcon/supplier issues
