Senior Staff Accountant

ABOUT THE ROLE

SUPER73 is hiring a Senior Staff Accountant to work onsite at our Irvine, CA HQ! The Senior Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting with month end close processes and day to day accounting operations of the organization. This position is critical to ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting to support both the Accounting and Finance departments. This individual will also have the opportunity to work in a cross functional capacity by collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to drive success in the accounting process.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Assist with the full cycle of the accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
• Process financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and receipts, with accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, such as balance sheets and income statements, to ensure their accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account adjustments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records according to GAAP
• Generate and analyze reports to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
• Perform other accounting tasks as assigned.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Netsuite).
• Excellent organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

COMPENSATION:

The salary range in CA for this role is $75,000-$85,000 annually and represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience and qualifications.
