Role: Senior Staff Accountant

Location: Remote US-Based

Essential Functions:

• The Senior Staff Accountant at CG Oncology plays a crucial role in supporting financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of accounting records.
• The individual is an accounting professional with experience in a fast-paced public company environment and demonstrates experience supporting the accounting function and collaborate cross-functionally to meet the needs of a changing and growing business.
• This position is responsible for purchase order (PO) management, with a focus on manufacturing and clinical operations, managing complex prepaid services tracking and account reconciliations, conducting expense report audits, and providing backup support for accounts payable (AP) and month-end close processes.
Additionally, this individual plays a central role in supporting special projects across the accounting function.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Five plus (5+) years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on purchase order management, prepaid services tracking, and expense report audits.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and clinical operations processes and their financial implications.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, Coupa, Oracle or SAP, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal control principles.
Continuous learning mindset, with a willingness to adapt to changing requirements and embrace new technologies and processes

The U.S. target annual salary range for this remote, full-time, position is currently set at $112,000-$125,000 The actual base salary offered for this role will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, market factors, experience and considering internal equity. In addition, to the base salary, CG Oncology offers a very attractive set of Total Rewards (including bonus and equity) and Well-Being Benefits provided as part of the overall compensation package for this role.
