The Payment Operations – ACH Senior Specialist is responsible for
- supporting the processing of payments and related activities.

The ideal candidate will have ACH Payment experience.
This role is a hybrid position with the working hours of Monday – Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. The job is in either Reading, PA, or East Providence, RI.
Job Description:
- Responsible for handling critical time-sensitive start-of-the-day and end-of-the-day wire functional and reporting deliverables plus, coverage for general wire inquiries and disposition.
- Aims to deliver superior service to clients by driving and optimizing the effectiveness and efficiency of people, processes, and technology to enhance financial performance, increase investment capacity, and manage risk.
- Builds sustainable repeatable capabilities that support the delivery of the highest standards of service and execution.
- Analyzes and reviews data tools, business processes, and operational standards to execute service delivery.
- Will Evaluate and ensure that operations meet company objectives, business needs, service agreements, and relevant requirements.
- Researches and monitors an external landscape to identify developments and translate them into operational implications for the company.
Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:
- Serves as a Subject Matter Expert within his/her process.
- Supports processing of payment transactions and related activities.
- Reports issues of concern or matters of potential loss to the Manager.
- Provides exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Adheres to Privacy Policy and Code of Ethics and follows all policies and procedures related to Consumer Compliance laws, regulators, and best practice recommendations.

Education:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics.
Work Experience:
- Required: Experience in ACH Operations and Management., 3-5 years
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with customers, team, and management.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as interest, percentages, and volume.
- Adequate knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common metrics used to measure and monitor operational performance, define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and provide concise, clear communication with a wide audience of internal departments.
- Developing knowledge of the cash management industry, including systems, products, and services
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
