Who we are looking for:

Locana is looking for an experienced Senior Solutions Architect – GIS-SAP Integration with substantial SAP technology experience and strong leadership skills to join us in developing, delivering, and managing industry leading solutions for utility clients. Our consultants work across multiple disciplines and industries and must be able to understand our clients’ business, influence stakeholders, act as a trusted advisor, and build credibility quickly in fast-paced environments.

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will serve as a lead collaborator on software implementation projects involving integrations between SAP and GIS. You will identify and document business processes, recommend process improvements, evaluate project approaches, coordinate interdependencies between business processes, apply technical development and configurations to GIS and SAP applications, and participate in business development endeavors.

The Senior Solutions Architect provides primary support, oversight, and strategic recommendations on decisions impacting data management, technology implementations, and data integration. You will work to understand clients’ business needs, serve as a trusted advisor, provide input and influence to stakeholders, and establish credibility quickly in fast-paced environments. You will need to have working knowledge of geospatial sciences and have experience with SAP, including the following areas:

• Leading the delivery of technical data management and integration solutions within a team of peers, partners, and subcontractors.
• Supporting business development activities including client workshops and demos.
• Providing guidance and oversight for all aspects of data design and delivery including data collection, data management and structure, quality control, interface operation, and system architecture in alignment with business processes.
• Working directly with clients to assess business needs and translate these needs into functional and technical requirements.
• Monitoring solution design and delivery to ensure adherence to requirements, scope, and schedule of deliverables.

Here are the skills and experience we are looking for:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Geoscience, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience with SAP including S/4HANA and the HANA platform including the spatial DBMS.
• Experience with HANA Core Data Service (CDS) views and OData Services.
• Familiarity with Esri ArcGIS Enterprise including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Portal, and ArcGIS Server.
• Experience designing, developing, administering, and maintaining Esri Geodatabases, especially when hosted on SAP HANA.
• Experience using Structured Query Language (SQL).
• Experience integrating SAP data with other systems via web services, APIs, and other technologies used to exchange data between systems.
• Experience capturing and translating business requirements into technical approaches.
• Experience leading requirements gathering through designing and facilitating workshops with stakeholders.
• Understanding of geospatial data formats, transformations, and coordinate systems.
• Understanding of SAP ERP system and modules.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps and their use in business workflows is a plus.

Locana offers a competitive compensation package including salary, bonus, and highly valued benefits programs. We are also working to increase wage transparency in an effort to create equity and equality. The annual starting salary range for this position is $150,000 to $180,000. Highly qualified individuals may have the opportunity to earn more.
