We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic team!
The Senior SDET will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the design, development, and execution of automated test suites and frameworks.
This position is On-Site in our Bothell, WA Office.
There are no WFH options available.
The role will NOT be C2C
Payrate: $55.00/hr. USD
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automated test frameworks and tools.
- Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and develop comprehensive test strategies.
- Consumer Electronics Experience. Recent development work on game consoles a plus
- Mentor and coach junior members of the testing team, providing guidance on best practices and technical expertise.
- Analyzing test results and identifying areas for improvement in product quality and testing processes.
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues found during testing, working closely with development teams to resolve them in a timely manner.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in software testing and quality assurance.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of testing practices and methodologies within the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8 years of experience in Software Development and/or quality assurance, with a focus on test automation.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines is a plus.
