Interesting Problems- Continually processing and understanding large amounts of structured customer, product, and event data
- Building full-stack experiences and toolsets to help users visualize their data, understand their customers, and surface the most impactful insights.
- Revolutionizing how marketers leverage their customer data.
- Pioneer advanced solutions in integrating our data capabilities and platform into the operating core of the businesses and ecosystem we serve. (e.g., MarTech/AdTech/DataPlatforms)
- 6+ years experience working with large-scale data-oriented systems
- Proven software engineering and ownership skills in production environments
- Excited about using functional languages (like Clojure!) in a production environment
- Interest in investigating and learning new technologies
- Worked to create elegant user experiences on top of complex technology
- Collaborative, inclusive, and obsessed with your customers' success.
- Open-source large-scale data engines such as Spark, Presto, and Kafka
- A web stack based on ClojureScript and the React family of tools
- Cloud-first automation deployed across many cloud platforms, including Apache Aurora and SaltStack.
- Random forests, logistic regression, and probabilistic databases

CompensationBase Salary: $170,000 - $234,000
Within our pay range, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, experience, and education/training.
Other Cash Incentives: For many of our positions, other cash incentives are also available.
Stock Options: The opportunity for ownership is an exciting part of Amperity's total compensation package. Every employee at Amperity receives a new-hire equity grant, commensurate with the scope of their position.
