We are seeking a Senior Scientist who is passionate and highly motivated to eradicate cancer using T-cell receptor (TCR) Gene Therapy approaches. As a Senior Scientist, you will be leading from the bench and a member of the in vivo team focused on delivering in vivo datasets that will have a direct impact on the TCR Gene Therapy pipeline. Key responsibilities of this role include:
Accountabilities:
Use your in vivo experience and technical skills to support our goals by designing in vivo adoptive cell therapy experiments, working hands-on in the lab developing and working with various in vivo adoptive cell therapy models of cancer such as xenograft and PDX models, conducting in vivo pharmacology studies (e.g., T-cell persistence, infiltration) and delivering comprehensive in vivo data packages to support TCR Gene Therapy programs. Demonstrate proficiency and flexibility in working with various programs and databases to capture all study data for broad access by project teams and collaborators. Work collaboratively across disciplines to develop and implement aggressive work plans and timelines. Contribute to study reports and presentations.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- PhD degree in a relevant subject area
- Practical in vivo experience and experimental skills in the use of mouse models
- Expertise in immunology
- Experience in common immunological assays (e.g., multicolor flow cytometry)
- Understanding of statistical methods and quality control of data
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Effective troubleshooting ability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Expertise in human T-cell biology
- Expertise in genetically modifying T cells
