Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Advanced Educational and Professional Background: Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree and have at least four years of extensive experience in sales, specifically with capital equipment, packaging materials, or other related goods in the bakery industry. Having an engineering degree or similar technical education is highly advantageous.
- Proven Sales and Industry Expertise: It is essential for candidates to demonstrate a track record of success in sales positions and have a thorough understanding of both traditional and automated bakery production processes. The ability to achieve sales targets in a competitive environment is a must.
- Exceptional Interpersonal and Analytical Skills: Strong communication skills are crucial, including the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders. Candidates should also possess strong analytical skills to interpret market data and make informed decisions.
- Technical Proficiency: Candidates with a solid technical and mechanical aptitude are preferred, particularly those familiar with our client's bakery capital equipment. Experience with CRM tools and AutoCAD is considered advantageous.
- Adaptability and Commitment: This position requires candidates to be willing to travel extensively, up to 80% of the time, to meet business requirements. A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a passport for travel are necessary.
- Residence Proximity: Candidates must reside within a maximum one-hour commute of a major airport.
- Other: A valid driver's license is required for this position. Additionally, candidates must be able to obtain a passport for international travel.
This role does not entail supervisory responsibilities but does require the associate to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Exposure to work near moving mechanical parts and occasional loud noise levels may occur.
