The Senior Analyst, Sales is responsible for SKU level sales forecasting and proactive analysis of all consumables for the Industrial Printer Group (IPD). This role collaborates with our National Operations (NOPS), Order Management and Procurement Teams to ensure service levels and sales objectives are achieved. This role uses historical data, trends, and forecasts from major accounts to provide a monthly consumable sales forecast.

The Senior Sales Analyst also prepares a wide range of divisional sales and financial analytics to proactively identify trends, opportunities, and to track progress and performance. This role is also responsible for managing our Garment Technology (GT) Partner Portal, which includes new customer registrations, portal maintenance (account, product, and pricing), as well as direct communication with end users to troubleshoot portal incidents.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

***

Sales Forecasting

  • Develop monthly sales forecast and analytics that account for trends, customer on-hand inventory, in-stock, seasonality, and promotional activity
  • Identify and understand reasons for gaps between monthly sales forecast and actual results
  • Actively participate in the various monthly divisional, operations, production, forecast, consensus, and corporate meetings
  • Prepare various monthly reports and analytics related to sales and inventory
  • Communicate directly with key accounts to review month-over-month forecasts
  • Strategic Planning

Sales Analytics

  • Proactively analyze sales and financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement; present ideas to management for consideration
  • Proactively monitor customer performance, product margins, returns, sales promotion metrics, providing analytics and insights on how to improve
  • Perform monthly reporting to track progress and performance; report to stakeholders as requested

Partner Portal Management

  • Manage the Partner Portal, including but not limited to the following tasks: Processing new customer registrations, maintaining existing customer accounts, manage products to be displayed or removed from the portal, ensuring correct pricing is reflected on the portal
  • Communicate directly with our portal customers to troubleshoot issues as required
  • Perform website maintenance such as coordinating website updates, reviewing & updating content, and collaborating with Marketing to ensure all products have a corresponding image available on our site

Communication

  • Communicate effectively to develop a strong working relationship with our factories, major customer accounts and support groups
  • Utilize relationships with stakeholders to effectively perform work and resolve relevant issues

Other Duties

  • Manage the processing of all invoices from Brown Manufacturing for the Digital Line and Synergy products
  • Act as the administrator for Brown Manufacturing's IC System

ABOUT OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related degree – Preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience conducting research and data analysis on sales activity and buying patterns, synthesizing information to create & present actionable insights, and utilizing MS Excel, SAP, and Tableau database systems to create comprehensive reports

Software/Technical Skills

  • Microsoft Excel
  • Data Analysis/Forecasting Tools (S4, Tablaeu, etc.) – Preferred
  • SAP OTC/Order Management Modules – Preferred

Other Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Advanced analytical skill utilizing technology to research & analyze data
  • Strong ability to extract and compile data from multiple sources, analyze the data, and then make recommendations for action
  • Ability to remain results oriented and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-management skills (ability to work independently)
  • Strong problem-solving skills – Preferred

This role will be a hybrid role. Subject to business needs, employees may work remotely up to two days per week. Assigned office days will be determined by managers. #LI-Hybrid

  • The salary (or hiring) range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 per year
  • Starting salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location, and alignment with market data
